Girl in the Hall

Saw a girl in the hall man she was hot
Walked into my class period wondering if she was in it with me or not
Sat down in my desk with my eyes on the floor
When I looked up she was walking through the door
My mind screamed “Foxy Lady” by Hendrix as she chose the seat next to mine
Thoughts of “Man this girls so fine” course through my head
She turns and speaks to me with a voice as clear as fresh water, as beautiful as a flower, as soft as a feather
I answered her with all of my thoughts and when I realized I was filled with dread
Man how I wished I was dead
She laughed so beautifully with such a light air
Then she sat there for a moment not caring if I was there
She turned and smiled a gorgeous toothy smile
I sat there for a long while basking in the glow
Then the point of her question sunk deep
I shook my head yes and got up to go
I grinned when she told me her name was Heather
After that she was on the fore front of my mind all the time
She was even on my mind as I went to sleep
I was so happy the next day I thought I would weep
I saw that girl in the hallway man she’s so fine
Only now I know she’s all mine

To be clear this didn't really happen. I got the idea from thinking about the song "Foxy Lady" by Hendrix. This poem is just one of those odd out of nowhere pieces. It is also published on Lulu.com in my book titled "From 6 to 16".
