Somewhere
I like to believe there is a somewhere for people like us.
Maybe it’s far; so far that we can’t see it
Or perhaps it’s close; closer than we expected.
Or could it be that it’s hiding? Can a place do that?
And why would it hide from us?
We aren’t mad consumers; we won’t strip the land like the others
We only want to enjoy the beauty of it all, the nature that’s so hard to come by.
This is why I like to believe in a somewhere for people like us
Because I can’t live with what I’ve got; it’s simply not enough.
