Night Of Terror
It starts the same,
as other dreams.
but here’s the difference,
the plot and scheme.
It’s another day
with amazing skies,
as I sit
and watch the sunrise.
It seamed so great,
the beginning I mean,
then it turned bad
as I say good-bye to my dream.
The sky turned
to a dusty gray.
That is when
I lost the day.
My friends turned rude,
and left me hard as stones.
The darker the sky,
the more shivers in my bones.
A lonely road
was here to stay,
I was depressed,
more and more each day.
Just when I thought
all was lost,
I saw a line
I quickly crossed.
It was the line
between reality and dreams.
It was also the line,
between laughter and screams.
With a sigh of relief
and a look around.
The only thing to be afraid of,
was the dark black ground.
So when I drifted off
again that night,
my dream again changed,
it was happy and right.
So the moral is,
things aren’t what they seam,
just remember this phrase,
It was only a dream…
