Right Before Your Very Eyes
Gunfire rings through the starry night
Two armies clash and fight
One representing democracy, the other sin
In the end only one can win
Unless those cultures come to compromise
Many more men will meet their demise.
It’s a shame to watch your comrade die
Right before your very eyes.
How does it feel to see the leaking blood?
Mixing with the ground, making a red sandy mud?
In the land of holy war
How can you stand it anymore?
To be ambushed by enemies who attack and flee
To face a religious monstrosity
For those men who bravely fight
To secure innocent civilian’s rights
To live in a place where terror is unfound
Not having to worry about hitting the ground
As bullets fly
Right before your very eyes.

In regards to the third line, I just have a philosophical question for the rest of you readers: how do you know if one army's good or bad? What if they're both right?
