This poem came to me when I was thinking of all the friends that acquired when I arrived in high school. Before then, I didn't really fit in with anybody but the friends that I have had since elementary school, all because I was a bit different. Now, people have come to accept me, and some people would say I was "Popular" something I wanted to be when I was a little kid. I have grown older and wiser since then, and have come to learn that such a thing as "popular" doesn't exist, it's a mindset that people have, it's fake and some-what degrading, and that's how this poem came about.
