The pretty girl
January 22, 2015
voyaged to a distant land
and my wandering eyes did see
a pretty girl more beautiful
than I had ever seen
And in this pretty land
my heart began to grow
to love things left unspoken
Yet my emotions refused to show
But the land was not kind to me
and soon I had to move on
when I finally returned
the pretty girl was gone
