I met you when I was a novice player
I was young and yet excited
To learn the trials of tennis
From swing to serve
You made tennis an exciting sport
It was always fun to be with you
Always a smile, always encouragement
Through battles and bonus games, too
You transformed my skills and stamina
To be who I am today
I thank you for your time and talent
Your dedication is here to stay
