Miss Perfect
"Miss Perfect"
That smile.
The one that crinkles your face,
Such a cute, innocent expression.
What could be behind it except,
Daisies, butterflies, and rainbows?
Jealousy, hate, fear, and a plan.
You show yourself to be Miss perfect,
But actually you just make everyone around you look imperfect.
That’s the only way to get ahead,
Make the others fall behind.
You innocence is just a façade,
A feint attack.
It’s what you use as a weapon,
To detour any accusations from your person.
Eventually you will have gotten into the minds of the majority,
And they will believe that you are the superior being.
They will lose confidence, and become clay in your hands,
Pawns on your chess board.
But some, will see though those shiny eyes, and full lips.
They will start the resistance and will live to see your cover fall through.
This is when your fear arises.
If they can give your followers back their opinions,
Your empire will fall.
You must get rid of these troublesome resisters,
Once and for all,
Before they can gain any ground.
But the game has become more complicated,
You can’t tell who the pawn is and who the bishop is.
The game is in check.
Before you can retaliate,
It is over.
Check mate.
