Born from an egg
Sat on by the hen
From dawn till ten'
The father is there
For protection
Showing masculinity
Fighting for his young
The rooster grows up
Takes the role of the father
He grows vicious
defensive of his chicks
But what is a rooster
A baby, a father,a fighter and a lover
The life of a rooster
The cycle repeats
