No one will listen

Thoughts crowd her vision,

In the silence of her trap
She grips her blade in her lap;
Nobody knows.
Tears running down her face,
Blood running out her veins;
Nobody knows.
Her stomach is howling,
She doesn't hear it
nor feel it;
Nobody knows.
She goes days with this ache;
Nobody knows.
She screams out for help;
Nobody knows.
Friends say she's just tired,
Family says she just fine,
But tomorrow in the morning
They will start mourning;
Nobody knows.
She was not just tired,
She was not just fine,
She wanted someone to notice
She wanted someone to care,
When nobody did she didn't think twice
She knew how to make them always be nice,
She pushed the blade harder
Not just to her wrists,
She wanted them to twist
To feel her pain,
Seeing this mess she knew she could win,
Just a few more cuts
She knew it would be over,
One two three four
She is no more;
Nobody knows.

With this piece I want to inspire people to speak up when they have a gut feeling that someone is hurting and to tell an adult. Everyone needs someone they can trust to be there for them and to support them.
