&quot;I don&#039;t just tell things, sir,&quot; said Faber. &quot;I talk the meaning of things here and know I am alive.&quot;<br /> Fahrenheit 451

When I hear this voice
Flowers bloom in my chest
They take root in my stomach
To calm the butterflies
And twist through my ribs
The tone nourishes them
The breath is their breeze
And the smile is their sun
Through late night phone calls
A forest erupts
With a secret photo
My lungs turn into greenhouses
My garden in my chest.
Oh but how the thorns from the flowers wound me
The vines between my ribs constrict
Like snakes thirsting for my last breath
The flowers in my lungs choke me
Your love grows a garden
But it kills me in the end
