Political Love Poem #27
I can’t get you off my mind
of you I’m always thinking
You are my sun, my light, my joy:
You are my Abe Lincoln.
You’re special in everyway
you’ve something that sets you apart
Abe Lincoln was the 16th president
but you’re always first in my heart
Whenever I see you, I’d honestly say
my heart, it does turn to mush
In your presence, I do feel a force
or should I say APUSH?
Life is like a beautiful picture
and it’s you- it’s you- who drew it
You are my Abe Lincoln
Not to mention my Daniel Day Lewis
To me, you are truly perfect
there’s nothing you are not
I’d really love to date you
Let’s hope my chances aren’t shot
