Memories
There Will Be A Day When,
I’m no longer a kid,
When I’m no longer a teenager,
When I’m no longer alive.
There Will Be A Day When,
I turn sixteen and can legally drive,
When I turn eighteen and become an adult,
When I have so much more responsibilities and opportunities.
There Will Be A Day When,
I graduate high school,
When I go off to college,
When I get a job.
There Will Be A Day When,
I’m no longer an athlete,
When I don’t have anymore bus rides to a game,
When I no longer have a second family
When I no longer score goals,
When I no longer defend the goal,
When I’m no longer a soccer player.
There Will Be A Day When,
I’m no longer a cheerleader,
When I don’t have to stand,
On a track, screaming for hours,
When I don’t get to base ,
my best friend any longer.
There Will Be A Day When,
I grow up,
When I get married and start a family,
When I won’t have fun as much fun,
as i did when I was a kid.
