Mirror of Memoirs
The Mirror of Memoirs
detects detects
the Owner that reflects reflects
His content. . .
The Smudges Smudges on the glass
Are Nightmares that'd come to pass
The Streaks and Streaks amidst the clear
are recollections it stores of fear.
The Cracks and Cracks
are harmful stacks
of My Memoires that tax and tax
My Mind
The Schmears and Smears
are painful years of Words
that beplagued My ears. . . .
MEMOIRES OF A MIRROR . . .
Stared back at me. I looked into the mirror dazed and had just awakened. I knew not what stared back at me. I saw a color slur, a great big copper blur. The years came back with an earth-shattering slam. The mirror broke and fell revealing what he'd hidden from me. Parallel was a universe time-frozen opposite the curse on my end. It's ancient history remained a mystery in the back of my mind. I reacted to it's stillness, curiously in kind. I reached out to the fractured glass and it took my hand. I'd bat my eyes and in it I'd stand. I saw myself, battered, tattered and worn- unequiped to take on the morning. I switched place with my reflection. I was He and He was me and I began to see'MYSELF. My focus, my Eyes remained hooked on the other end of the Looking Glass I looked. From the other side, It-the Mirror looked back at me.
