Nothing Left
Standing on the edge,
Looking down.
A wet, rocky bottom.
The rain pelting down around me.
The dark clouds thundering above,
Vibrating through the very core of my being.
What do I have left to live for?
The one person I truly loved,
The one person I thought I could completely trust...
My soul mate...
Gone... forever...
Left with her...
All there is now,
Is me,
This cliff,
And the waiting rocks below me,
Oh so inviting...
The wind pushes me forward,
I teeter on the edge,
My hands reaching out,
Trying to steady myself.
Glimpsing down,
The waves crash against the cliff,
Almost daring me,
Taunting me,
Begging me closer.
So tempting...
My last thoughts...
Don't want to remember...
But they come anyways,
The pain is excruciating,
Walking in on you and her...
Something I never thought I would see.
That's it, I can't take it anymore,
My world collapses'
And I jump...
