Tears
As I sit alone at night
Wishing with all my might,
That the loneliness I feel
Will cease to be real
And I'll know someone will care
In that harsh world out there
And I won't be alone
And I'll have a home
But as the tears flow
And as the days go
I seem to be stuck
In this never ending rut
Of depression and sadness
No one knows how I miss
The happiness I once knew
I need to get a clue
To find my way back
And get what I lack
Back into my life
And end all this strife.
