The Voices
Pretention and raised voices,
Dead grass laid on these thighs,
Is everybody here?
Stopping in front of me,
Voices infecting,
Pulled over.
"Is it over?"
Stop, the voices; stop the voices,
They can hear me too, infecting,
Ripped jeans casing my thighs,
Golden me,
"Over here,"
"Come here!"
Trudged over and over,
Pulling your lament from me,
Raised voices,
Whipping those thighs,
Leather; infecting.
Infected,
All here,
Opened thighs,
"Glad you came over."
Lowered voices,
Lashing, raising, me.
Losing me,
Your way of infecting,
Retention and pointed voices,
Trapping me here,
"All over!"
Kingdom gates; thighs.
Closing thighs,
Dropping in front of me (you?),
All over.
Infection,
Losing me here,
Raised voices.
Thighs of infection,
Slow water retention,
Losing me over you,
Can you be still here, the voices?

I forget what this form is called, but we learned it in our Writer's Craft class recently, and I've been addicted ever since. Inspired largely by Jim Morrison.
