The pitter-patter of her heart
Glass breaking as she sings
Twitters, and tweets, and pings
As she plays her faithful part
The air beneath her wings
She pushes farther, the bell rings
And her beauty is an art,
Glass breaking as she sings
She pushes harder, even though it stings
Soaring like a dart –
The air beneath her wings
She’s pulled along by strings
Perfection she must impart
Glass breaking as she sings
She has no endings
Only her last start
The air beneath her wings
