You weaved the perfect web of lies
Truly it is magnificent
Spun together with deceit
And fake promises
Of caring, love and compassion
Strong enough to protect you from harm
And just as you grow hungry again
The quarry is caught up in your web
Believing the lies
Believing in you
And then your strike.
Like a widow killing its mate
You crush yours
Shattering all hopes
All dreams of a future
And breaking their heart.
As you did mine
One after another
And your web continues
