She Wonders
Throughout the solemn, cold house
She wonders why she’s a spouse
She has a deeply desire
to encounter more, like fire
but no, it’s never like that
she just sits with the wise cat
she sits, hopping she won’t sprain
Dull memories replay again
She see’s people passing by
She sees them looking all fly
She knows they are all better
She sits sinking in her sweater
She longs for something much more
Something that will make her sore
She cries alone in silence
wishing for some deep violence
Throughout the solemn, cold house
She wonders why she’s a spouse
She has a deeply desire
to encounter more, like fire
