Hypocrisy
she is
angrily ripping
yet another sheet of paper off the notebook
the paper is
due tomorrow
the topic is
global warming
she is
voicing
why something needs to be done
because
trees
cut down merciless
fossil fuels
burned endlessly
forests
haunted with the memories of animal species
murdered to extinction
she is
messing up again
another lined sheet
floating down to the littered carpet
a piece of paper
blending in
an endless sea of white
she is
analyzing
where the problem lies
she is
writing
poorly
one more crumpled draft
flying through the air
narrowly avoiding the trash can
it could have been a three point shot
oh well
she is
glancing
at the clock
it is late
she doesn't know what to say
she is thinking
where does global warming begin?
Then she looks down at the floor.
And she gets an idea.
