Kind Of
It's early in the morning,
I’m feeling kind of lonely.
The sky's a bit murky,
My mind is sort of empty.
I get up with a huff,
My eyes still a bit puffy.
I stare at the wall,
Kurt Cobain flips me off with ease.
Sugar sugar sugar.
My kitchen is a mess,
But I think of nothing but egg whites.
I do a little dance,
Since my mouth is full of cotton.
Lazy Confessions plays in my mind.
It's early on a Sunday,
The clouds are all a bit murky,
An the rain,
Finally falls.
It's early in the morning,
I watch for any sign,
If any waking elephants,
My head aches from something.
It's really hard to explain,
The kind of early feelings,
But I can't shake the feeling,
Of lo loneliness.
My phone in my hands,
I watch the screen,
And feel like throwing fits,
But my TV flickers with games.
I ease into breakfast,
Watch the table with five eyes,
And the rains,
Well it simply pours.
It's early in the morning,
I'm feeling kind of ...lonely.
