A Golden Memory

Brandy's
ashes finally arive.
I get to hold her
after sevral months
but there's something
missing. Though it
is her ashes it's not
the samething,
her spirit's still
not there.

The author's comments:

This poem is in memory of my first dog Brandy. But she was more then just a dog she was like my older sister. Always looking after the house, and when ever I would fight with someone she would step inbetween the two of us to keep me safe. She passed away when I was in 4th grade. I still miss her very much.
