Fallen Angel
I lay alone in a field.
I can feel the gentle breeze,
As it sweeps across the meadow.
I listen to the stream,
And to how it pours into the silver lake.
I sit up and see a wolf.
I hear it howl at the cure sent moon.
It faces me with a spark in its eyes,
Then sits with its tail flicking by its side.
I lay back down and close my eyes.
When I open them I see a blanket covering the sky.
The sun was rising from behind the trees.
As it floated up it caused a glow in the lake.
I stand up to feel the sun,
And fall when the day is done.
