Fatality
When she visits my heart
she doesn’t want to demolish
the structure and columns
inside that hold red flesh.
She redecorates.
She repaints the walls
with pinkish white
clearing the abode of enough blood
to survive but
not too much so her residence
collapses and cannot sustain.
She only wants a home
in which she can tease
and mock my brain.
A constant neighbor,
and a chronic pain.
