Token Black Girls Unite
  My dark, brown skin juxtaposed with
  a sea of white,
  as I have been the token black girl
  for all my life.
  And truth be told,
  this act is getting old;
  I just really need another black girl
  who understands my strife.

I've been the only black girl in my classes for several years, and to be honest, I wish I had someone there who shared both my culture and struggles. There is a special connection between black people, one that cannot be forged anywhere else.
