Yours, Truly.
Months go by- and I can't help but cry
Missing you is like the moon without the sun
Alone and dark are my thoughts about what transpired
My heart's lost- and my emotions lost its glow
Fear and hate is something I don't comprehend-
But can't help but feel-
Lust in your eyes about- the words my lips spoke
Sorry is a thought, but not enough to put into words
I'm drained from your love, it seems false-
My heart is racing just like my pulse
Quivering down my spine, are all the words-
That you never cared at all
My intentions were pure- like love at first sight
But now we battle- with our hearts left to fight
Dead my heart lay- while yours is a ghost
A love laid to rest- with tragic despair
1, 2-6 months dropped from my life
Erased like a pencil- not permanent enough
Drip, drop- my tears clean our slate blacked with tar
Starting fresh, like roses cut straight from the garden-
Yet, roses die and so did we
There isn't much left- for anyone to see
One choice, one option, one dilemma, one fate
One chance to be- yours, truly
