In the Mood of Hate
Hate is a strong word
But, it's what I feel
Love I cannot see anywhere
All I see is darkness and hate
Even on the day of love
I see black
All over my body hate has owned
Hate has branded me
I'm not understanding
Where's the love I gave everyone
I want it back
My love is no more
It left me here on shore
Stranded on an island forever
An island covered in black
And is dirtied by hate and unpurity
I want God's love
I don't-want-mine back
I want God's
His is better
He can get me off this island
I was temped by hate
And I'm suffering my consequence
Now I hope my time is up because I'm tired of living like this
I don't know if I should hang on or let go
Because my threads are coming a loose
Every moment of every minute
I'm hanging on a cliff
And I'm wondering if I should let go
