Tell me about it
Why should I keep going if thoughts of death won't stop?
Why should I keep smiling if happiness I don't got?
Why should I be calm, I'm standing at the edge?
Why should I thank you, if you didn't help me off the ledge?
Why should I be thankful, if I'm constantly in pain?
Why should I keep trying if I've already lost the game?
And why do you say you understand, if you've never felt this way?
And why say you're here if you never planned to stay?
Why tell me everything is fine if nothing is okay?
And why sleep next to me, if you leave the next day?
Why keep doing good, if the appreciation is never given?
And if things are getting worse, then why should I keep livin'?
I'm strugglin' to see the positive, but there's a real strong doubt.
I'm not feeling happy, is this normal?
I would love to shout it.
What is life?
Tel me about it!

This is a piece of poetry that my friend Joyce helped me write. She helped me think of an idea of what to do the poem about.
