The Rustic Colossus

The giant looms above the valley,
Carefully watching over the surrounding area,
Searching for destruction far and wide.
Its duty was to protect it's territory.
'Iron'ically defeated by what it was supposed to stop;
The tower can no longer serve,
But it still stands giving a sense of security.

It's a fire tower, also this was supposed to be architectural, but it's hard to do that with computer text in this format.
