To All the People That Fill the Land
To all the people that fill the land--
Mended or fragile hearts do not stand a chance
Then Hark! This message is for you
Love is meant to be broken, broken in two
Do not care for times needless heeds, this I say
For love will only have a taste of great dismay
Love would only be a matter of fleeting forever
And so hurt and doubt will never come to sever
May it be that love never comes as a welcome
Tragedy, despair, anguish, Hades where it's swelters from
Already would the bud wither and decay away
The picture of your future is as clear as day
Nevertheless, if you heed these words
Leaving love, will help keep your mind from a blur
Then no sorrows will come to haunt your soul
And love wouldn’t dare create this morbid empty hole
