pool of misery

the pool of misery,
i swim here every day.
i don't like this pool,
this pool of misery.
sometimes a long swim,
rarely a short swim.
i dive under,
the misery intrudes.
i inhale it,
breathe it in,
i begin to drown, and eventually die,
in this pool of misery...
