A New Kind Of Brilliant
A shimmering, blue, reflective pool,
i've become mesmerized like a fool.
A ring of yellow, a ring of blue,
this intensity is something new.
During the night or in the day,
the brilliancy finds a way.
Unlike anything I've ever seen,
not like that of aquamarine.
Not even turquoise.
More like a sun to arise,
in a light hue,
of springtime dew.
Reminding me of a candy so sweet,
and undoubtedly the most elite.
Forever I could stare,
without a care.
Not even a clever disguise
could keep me from looking into those wonderful eyes
