A Cup Of Tea

As you bring the ceramic mug to your mouth
steam hugs your fair face
giving off a whiff of summer dew
Bitterness lingers on your rosy lips
Dark but smooth
Hot but soothing
After a day full of “Hey, can you…” and “Don’t forget to…”
it is finally possible to revive your sanity
and let the dusk melt through your fingers
wrapped around the cylindrical heaven
