The Old Days

You helped me build projects
w/ wood and some nails,
You helped make a sand castle
shovel and pail,
You bandaged my boo-boos
and kissed me good night,
You stopped us from arguing
and all of the fights,
You fed me my veggies
and said "drink lots of milk",
You yelled at us in the mud
and said "get out of that filth",
I guess what I am saying
is I miss the old days,
So keep them alive
and remember always.
