A Place to Rest

The joy this place brings.
I stand here as my heart sings.
The joy you have put within this
Fills my soul with eternal bliss.
Let me stay here
Forever and a year.
Outside this safety place
A wave of reality and no joy has a trace.
The fire burning and strike all.
The tsunami towers tall.
One of drama, anger, and sorrow.
It won’t give freedom for tomorrow.
But rest assure i have a place to rest.
A haven at best.
Here i will worship.
Here a strong relationship
Thrives due to a new life.
Just as a groom and his wife.
