The Small white, but golden ball
Skidded across the field
As does a perfect pebble
Across a lake
Asleep like an infant
With only 120 ticks on the clock
We trailed by 1
Our goalie threw the ball
Past their defense
To our attackers
Jumping calmly
To score and save the game
Everything fell completely silent
So one could possible here
the tick of a pin
As it wiggles across
The floors surface
My teammate shot
Followed by the game ending horn
It bounced off the post,
and we fell to defeat
For the championship game
Was a test
No player
Had studied for
