My Epitome
You are my epitome.
Epitome, Some might say it's just a word,
But that's not what I heard.
Epitome means someone who is wise.
Epitome means perfect,
Or someone who can advise.
Epitome is someone who I respect.
Epitome could be an idol,
But there's so much more.
Epitomes are Vital,
But you are someone that I adore.
You are my epitome.
Even if you didn't want to hear it,
You listened.
Even if I threw a fit,
You didn't complain.
You just helped me get back up.
You helped me stay sane.
You can be a dreamer,
But to me you're always a leader.
You are my epitome.
You're the one I go to when I need help.
You would encourage me.
You’ll never truley know how I felt,
You helped me be the best I could be.
You will always be the one I look up to.
You are my role model,
To that I'll always be true.
You are my epitome.
You are my friend.
I could never be the person I am today
If I didn't listen to you till the end.
You shaped me up,
You made me better.
You filled my cup.
To you I give this letter.
You rewrote my story,
To you I give the glory.
You helped me be free,
You are my epitome.
