staggering onto the frosty ice
Crunching beneath your skates.
as the piercing cold enters your soul.
Gliding to the center, skates dancing
with the snow.
Your ears
gather the crowd’s
sharp treat as
you spin, flip, and twist.
You latch the door, smiling to the
moon and back.
