I wonder how often do I cry,
When you worry about me…
I hope you know that I try.
You know the right words to say,
Yet they don’t feel right,
But what happens after we fight.
Then someone tells me how can I look
So unhappy.
Well their words slaughter me!
How can I be so happy?
And for a moment I feel fine,
Just for a moment.(pause)
But there are times when I’m not okay,
And I need your trust.
So I’m letting go…
And I need you to know,
I’m not out the night.
Without you there is nothing in my sight.
I need you
You are
My light.
