the day went by not so fast

though the tension is wearing thin

i set the lights down to a dim

the lights are low

put on a love song and lets dance slow

i don't if love leads here or anywhere

loving you has only been fair

loving my girl feels so right

when we dance i'll hold you tight

and close to my heart

i love you i knew from the start

may the song neve end

if it does i'll play it again
