Soccer Ball
Out on the emerald green field,
Rolls my kicked, beaten, and pounded,
Soccer ball.
The color may be faded,
The seams torn,
But just as useful
And just as good to use to me.
The ball bounces just the same,
When kicked high into the air,
It lands just as far as any other.
I love my soccer ball,
No matter how tattered it is,
It will always be mine.
