Together 'Forever'
Katie’s high
Her mouth is shut
But just look at her eyes
And then,
Her mother yells
“You can’t see him again”
She begins to cry,
As she tries to hold a cough inside
“Why?”
Katie asks, but it’s too late
She’s already doomed to her fate
She’s sent upstairs
As he’s sent away
Cold and heartless she lay
Tears stream down her face
As she heart starts to race
She’ll miss his laughs,
His smiles,
His hugs
All because they were caught doing drugs
Captain of the volleyball team
In the choir,
Front rows she sings
High is for planes,
It ruined Katie’s dreams
Two weeks later
He was found,
Dead from overdose
No one else around
Just Katie,
Who lay close
Katie’s dead too
She did the same
So apparently,
Together Forever they’ll always be
