Rose.
A seed is planted,
Two people meet,
Boy and girl,
Something so sweet.
The stem shoots up,
Buds start to grow,
As the two get closer,
And their feelings show.
A rose in bloom,
Two people are happy,
They were meant for each other,
It is easy to see.
Fully blossomed,
With luscious red petals,
So in love,
Their hearts can’t settle.
Then winds begin to stir,
They’re feeling pain,
They can see the storm ahead,
Left a hopeless rose in the rain.
Now the rose withers,
And the couple departs,
Leaving two suffering souls,
Two wilted hearts.
