Closure
Even though I could tell
 That it wasn't there anymore
I wanted us to still be well
But it was like a disease without a cure

The toxic relationship ate away at my core
I could see it in you too
Making it work was such a chore
There wasn't much else we could do

When it came to an end
 At first I didn't comprehend
But now it's all behind us
And all the memories start to blend
