Not Alone, Just Lonely
In a school of a thousand people
 I'm not alone, just lonely
I walk down the same halls
With the same people who kill me slowly

 I watch their bodies move
 In their self-conscious ways
 Putting up a front
 And creating a haze

 To protect their robot selves
They have a steel heart (if one at all)
 And their eyes applaud whatever
They'd love to watch me fall

 But it's already too late
You've missed me hit the floor
 You've missed me causing hurt
Because my pain just begs for more

 Misery loves company
If I had any, that'd be great...
 But everyday I sit
 And everyday I wait

For soemone to tell me I'm worth it
And they'll never let me go
 Someone to say they care
 Someone to let me know

That in a school of a thousand people
 I'm not alone, nor lonely
And the people I walk the halls with
Don't and will never own me.
