Glowing and Growing
Glowing
You have a glow,
You’re ideas flow,
You are sensitive but strong,
You know exactly where you belong,
Beneath you’re hard shiny shell a river lies deep and still,
Sometimes, even it flows against you’re will,
You highlight the good,
Underline the bad,
You’re mind is like a wood,
The tress all the different thoughts you have,
Sometimes in colour,
Sometimes not,
Though you don’t remember you never forgot,
You are as hard as you are soft,
You are moving and yet you are still,
Under you’re powers,
This gives me a thrill,
You nurture you protect,
But can’t bring yourself to regret,
All that you have done,
For you know that despite the pain,
We have gained,
Blood sweat and tears,
You know the battles won,
