If You Were to Ask Me
If I were to ask you, “What is love?”
You’d say I’m too young to know.
Yet if you sought this answer from me,
My answer awaits below.
If you seek the knowledge to find it,
Just open your eyes to see,
I acted as myself for instance,
And she has come right to me.
Love to me is the freshest air;
Always something new to breathe.
Love is steady and love is true,
In her, you trust and believe.
Love is only as good as you want it to be,
So make it your very own,
And be sure to love her with all your heart and soul,
And you’ll never be alone!
