:Different door, different ending Original
Part of you that I crave.
I reach out to save us,
pick up the pieces where they lay.
It wasn't yours to take
my heart, it breaks
pieces scattered
falling apart
even after we drift
I reach out for you
but through my fingers you slipped.
Even now I can't bear to lose you.
The words they break me once more,
always the same
they swirl in my head as I try to find a different door, a different ending than the one before.
