Fall days
At the park on a fall day
All she wanted to do was play
I saw her playing in the sand
Then a tall, strange man
And like a lightning bolt I saw him snatch her and run
As I was screaming for help my mind spun
The lights, the sirens, it all felt like a dream
The town, from our neighbors to the mayor, formed a huge team
We searched day and night for the girl in the red coat
But what we found was a ransom note
Once the demands were met and cash was paid
The girl in the red coat was found alone and afraid
The Family was scared but more glad than ever
Because their little angel was home to stay forever
